Afaf Seyam is a multidisciplinary designer & artist whose work moves fluidly between fashion, technology & storytelling.

A woman with black hair, wearing sunglasses, a beige blazer, and black gloves, is adjusting her sunglasses while sitting outdoors on a city street.

She launched Boy Vienna as an artistic project that blurs boundaries of gender, form, and expression, following years of experience designing for iconic global houses and luxury retailers, including Calvin Klein, Vera Wang, Ralph Lauren, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Bergdorf Goodman.

Her work has been featured in VogueThe CoveteurRefinery29PopSugarElle, and Nylon, and she appeared as a finalist on Hulu’s Dress My Tour, a Critics’ Choice Award–nominated series.

Beyond fashion, Afaf has built a career harnessing design and brand strategy. She founded and led a branding and marketing agency that partnered with clients across diverse industries, from beauty and lifestyle to pharmaceuticals and biotech. Through her personal channels, she has also created social media campaigns that have amplified brands and ideas to global audiences, showcasing her instinct for shaping cultural conversations online.

Her background in textile design and technology continues to shape her approach to innovation, giving her a unique lens on how design adapts to shifts in culture, communication, and science.
